When I returned home I went back to school at the University of Washington using the GI Bill to help pay the costs.

At first I had a hard time readjusting to civilian school life. I had to quit after a few weeks. However, with the help of the GI Bill I was able to continue in the fall of 1970.

The GI Bill helped me become a teacher. I have had a great career as a teacher.
